Spiritual Blindness

Praying Friends:

Mr. D who thought of Jesus as a space man and rejected the free gift of salvation that God offered him through Christ, died one day after entering the hospital. He had stomach cancer and knew he was dying but he continued to reject Christ. According to Buddhist tradition his family now has the responsibility to bow before the altar in their home that contains an urn with his ashes. As the family goes through these rituals please pray that their spiritual blindness will be removed. His wife and son have heard the gospel; pray that they will turn to Christ. Pray for the family as they grieve because they have no hope. Over 2300 people die each day without Christ in Japan.

DeanO, the clown, came and trained our Christians to make balloon animals and also to do face painting. Those who were trained went with DeanO to witness in parks, at a road side rest area and at a shopping mall. Many people received Manga NT and Digest Bibles. As people received the wordless book, the Christians were able to share the gospel message. Pray for each person who received literature or heard the gospel presented. Pray they will read the materials and listen to the Lord as He speaks to their hearts. Pray that Mrs. Ho, with whom DeanO’s wife shared and for whom you have been praying, will trust Christ as Savior.

God is answering prayers for the new meeting at Lotus. At the last meeting, Mrs. M’s husband came and there were several non Christians there. Mr. M had many questions. Pray for Mr. M to be saved, for Mrs. M’s faith to be restored and for the rest of the family to come to the Lord. Pray for E who is the leader for this meeting. It is a difficult time for her as she works on Wednesday and then goes to the coffee shop for the worship time from 8:30 to 10:00. Pray for God to give Em physical strength, boldness, wisdom as well as spiritual victory daily as she serves the Lord.

Do we take the claims of Christ on our lives seriously is the question the JGPNetwork leaders asked at their last leaders meeting. Are we truly worshiping Him when we meet, are our lives all that He wants us to be every day. These young Christians want to grow in the Lord and become all that He wants them to be. Pray that they will not be distracted and that they will be obedient, believing His promises, and keep their focus on making Christ the Lord of their lives each day.

Coming soon on our website will be a four minutes clip of about our work. Also, pictures of DeanO’s volunteer ministry and the outreach will be posted here. Check it out!!!
