Response to prayer request re: Mr. O - man with disease similar to Lou Gehrig's...
I have gotten my mother an mp3 player with the Bible loaded on it. She loves it! This might be a great option for Mr. O.

Dear Mr. & Mrs. Oue,
My name is Dakota Leach, and I am 8 years old. My family attends East Memorial Baptist Church in Prattville, AL. I am currently enrolled in SPARKS, an age group that is a part of the AWANA program. Our lesson this month is to learn about missionaries serving around the world for the cause of spreading the Gospel of Christ. I was given your names, as those missionaries I should be praying for and learning about this month. If you have time, could you please answer a few questions for me, for our AWANA project. 1.) What is your favorite Bible Verse? 2.) Where exactly are you serving? and 3.) What language do you speak in your particular area? I will be praying for you and Mrs. Lana this month, and hope that the Lord blesses both of you in your endeavors to share the good news of our Lord. I will be greatly appreciative of any response you can give.
Yours in Christ,
Dakota Leach

Daniel,
Praise the Lord you are here in Japan to share Christ with the Japanese while teaching English. if you write me directly at lana@outreachjapan.org
I will send you more information. I tried your return mail via the web and it isn't working.
We have a vibrant house church in Togane as well as in other places across Japan. If you read the archives on this site I think you will be blessed to see what folks are doing.
Mr. Miku, our friend, in Okinawa just led a student in Hiroshima to the Lord, doing a Bible study via skype. So, many things work. Do you speak any Japanese?
Blessings,
Lana

Tony,
I am so glad you wrote. I will respond to your inquires via your email address. I think there are many avenues open to us, including Mixi and Facebook Japanese groups.
I look forward to further dialogue and am praying for God to bless the IED and show us many ways to use this medium to get the word out!!!!

Dear friends

I'm the coordinator of Internet Evangelism Day www.InternetEvangelismDay.com
whose aim is to encourage more online outreach, any which way. (And also a WEC International staffer)

We've just done a new page on the importance of reaching Japan using the web:
http://ied.gospelcom.net.japan-web-evangelism.php
and would value your thoughts, ideas, links or anything else on this topic. If you know of people involved in online outreach, or websites not yet on the site, or anything else, do please write. Just anything that would improve this page, encourage mission to Japan, etc.

Special blessings to you
