I am blessed by Kei's story to bring her students to Christ. I also have a vision to reach the Japanese for Jesus. God gave me grace after grace when I lived in Japan during me U.S. military days. He opened many opportunities for me to be involved in Japan. I lived next to Mt. Fuji in the city of Gotemba. That is where I met my wife, Reiko. We met at her church in Gotemba. One day after a Sunday service, the Pastor and his wife talked with me and Reiko about teaching English to the local children through the church, a ministry opportunity. That vision was not fulfilled at that time. Shortly thereafter, my military job took us to California where we live now. The idea of teaching English in Japan has remained with me. I am encouraged by Kei's sacrifice to labor in the Gospel. I pray those Gospel tools are hitting the targets at full force.

P.S. I am familiar with the Japanese Bar-BQ...we had one for our engagement celebration.
