Cherry blossoms are blooming!

Cherry blossoms are blooming! Spring is coming!!! This is spring vacation for schools and spring fever is definitely in the air, even is some days are still nippy. Pray that as the Japanese go out this week; sit under those trees; and gaze up at those beautiful cherry blossoms; they will realize there is a loving, living God who made the blossoms and them as well. Ask God to prepare their hearts for an encounter with Him!!!

Praise the Lord for answered prayer for the Yo family. Mr. Yo has a job!!! In the interview process, he was able to give testimony of his faith. PTL!! He has also been witnessing at his new job. Mrs. Yo shared at leader meeting how they are learning to wait on the Lord even when the situation is difficult and they don’t see how God is going to work. Continue to pray that God will guide this family and that they will grow strong and bold in their walk with Christ. Pray the church that meets at their house will grow also.

Another big answer to prayer is that God provided an apartment for E and is providing the funds for all the initial payments needed and the rent. Pray that God will bless her as she moves and starts up contacts in a new area. Pray for her to meet folks who are open to her witness, to those who are hungry to know God. Pray for her to grow deeper in the Lord and be bold in sharing Christ daily. Pray for fruit from her witness.

Also, God opened the door for Mrs. Se to visit Mrs. Sugi again. More answered prayer. Continue to pray for Mrs. Sugi to trust Christ completely Pray she will have confidence that Christ is her Lord and become an obedient disciple, starting a church in Yachimata. Ask God to give Mrs. Se wisdom as she disciples her.

This month when we took new missionaries who will work in Shizuoka to meet Mrs. Hori, she came with Bible in hand!! Before we parted, we read the Word and prayed. As we finished praying, her eyes were filled with tears. Pray that she will be saved soon and that she will be instrumental in leading people to Christ who will in turn lead others to Him. She said she could bring many friends to meet with the missionaries!! Also, remember Mr. Sa, a young realtor, who wants to get together with them and is eager to learn about the Lord.

Thanks for praying for Mrs. Ima as she visited Kagoshima on the southern island of Kyushu to train Mrs. Ha who opened a group home. She reported that Mrs. Ha’s faith seems weak and her vision unclear. Pray that God will strengthen Mrs. Ha and give her faith to commit her life and the home to the Lord to be used for His purpose: to see multiplying disciples who become multiplying churches.

Our hearts ache for many who are hurting. Please pray that the following ( Mr. and Mrs. Ogu, Mrs. Ma, Mrs. Maru, Mr. and Mrs. Ni, Mr. and Mrs. Sa, Mrs. Suzu, Mrs. Kohi, Mrs. Kawa and her children, and Mrs. Ki) will see the Lord’s hand at work in their lives in the midst of difficult situations and persecution. Pray they will have a hunger to know Christ better and trust Him to be the answer to their needs.

    Hello,

In this post it was mentioned that you we praying for a church in Yachimata. Did it happen? I have friends there and am looking for a Christian church for them to plug into. They are lonely (she is Japanese and he is English) and need friends and mentors. If you can help, I would be very thankful.
