Claiming His Promises for His Glory

We have a song we sing which focuses on how marvelous God is and that is what I want to do in this letter: focus on all the wonderful things God has been doing this month.
First came a visit to Sapporo where God led in all kinds of divine appointments, training, and prayer and worship times. He has continued to work in the hearts and lives of the new Christians who are daily being discipled by H. She is growing as a discipler and evangelist as God gives wisdom and direction on a daily basis. Today, July 23, several are meeting together at her home for worship. The new Christian, Ka-san, is bringing a lost friend who seems eager to know Christ. Though by the time you read this the worship time will be over, please pray for Mr. Atsu to be saved.
While in Niigata to disciple and mentor Mrs. K, we witnessed to her friend, Mrs. Waka. I was able to introduce Mrs. K to Mrs. Mo. After I left, she visited this Christian who has been out of church for a long time. Pray that both Mrs. Waka and Mrs. Mo will turn control of their lives over to Christ. Pray for this tiny group to grow into a reproducing church. An aside, Mrs. K’s daughter had the mumps while I was visiting so I am praying that I will not catch them!!!!
Today I received a call from E who shared that Mrs. Se had lunch yesterday with the wife of the president of a small company. While they were having lunch, Mrs. Se sensed the Holy Spirit was dealing in the lady’s heart; so, she excused herself from the table and went to the bathroom and called E to ask her to pray for the lady’s salvation. In the afternoon, Mrs. Se called back to share that this lady, Mrs. Kuma had prayed and asked Christ to be her Savior. Pray for this lady to be baptized and become a vibrant witness. Pray for her family and friends to respond to her witness and be saved; and, of course, that this fruit will lead to churches.
We are in the process of developing the www.outreachjapan.org website and have been working on it for several months. We’re stuck!!! Please pray for us to have wisdom, creativity and vision as we work on this project. Since each major population segment under the Japan Cities, Towns and Villages Strategy Group, including the JGPNetwork, will be linked to this site, it involves getting information and prayer needs for seventy four million Japanese people out to prayer warriors.
