Ringing Again

Dear Praying Friends:
What an wonderful God we serve!! You have prayed these couple of weeks for Mrs. S to stand firm in her faith. We thank you and thank God for answering your prayers!! Mrs. S has stood firm. She was able to witness to her daughter about Jesus during those difficult days and her daughter in turn shared her mom’s testimony with other family members! She has been able to attend worship and has been discipling those that she has led to Christ.!! Today she and Mrs. Sa visited Mrs. Mu… who trusted Christ as her Savior! PTL!!!. Bells are ringing in heaven again.!! Praise the Lord for this new Christian!! Pray for her, Mrs, S and all the believers’ faith to grow!!
Do you remember us asking you to pray for the city of Sodegaura? Well, maybe not!!! But God did!! Last week we received a call from E in Australia who had led A-san to the Lord the day she left to return to Japan in August. He has been trying to disciple her via email and telephone. He felt he had reached the end of what he could do so called and asked us to contact her. Sunday we were able to meet her, pray with her, and give her some handles on how to walk daily with the Lord. Guess where she lives? That’s right!!! Sodegaura!! A-san is afraid to tell her parents that she is a Christian. Pray she will experience God’s presence in her life daily as she starts a new job in Tokyo and be able to testify for Christ to her family and friends. She wants to grow in the Lord so pray that she will!!!
As we see the Christians continuing to grow and witness, we see Satan doing his best to stop them. He attacks from all directions. Pray that each believer will have a hunger to know God more and more each day. Pray for the leaders to be constantly filled with the Holy Spirit. Ask God to help them be obedient and have a humble servant heart and to walk worthy of the Lord. Pray for God’s Holy Spirit to bless the worship times and to teach the believers as they open the word of God. Pray that those who have led others to Christ will be a good role model for those they are discipling.
We would like to ask prayer for us on Thursday this week as we share about discipleship and what God is doing in Togane at a conference. Pray we will not be seen but that those listening will see this is God’s work and give Him ALL the glory. Also, pray those who hear will catch a vision for discipling and apply the discipleship principles when they return home.
